Why are people saying she's lip syncing though? Anyone with half a brain can tell it was a technical error.
It seems like Katy and her band weren't even being fed the broadcast stream through their earpieces, as they would've obviously stopped at the very beginning.

I think what's causing the confusion is that even though the studio version was playing, she was still lipping along. She didn't stop the performance, the host (I think) did. What would have happened had they not stopped? Would she have continued?

I love Riri but IKAG was the biggest female song of 2008. "Disturbia" was a hit but it's not close to being her most memorable hit, superior as she might be or that you might think she is to Katy, it's still very sad and she deserved the award

Though, I might be wrong because maybe they take in account how big the song was in France not WW in general lol.

Disturbia is Rih's 2nd best song though, it's a quality track and was huge here in Europe.

She didn't know anything was wrong. She and her band +dancers just only heard the live vocal. That's the source of confusion. And NRJ is so wrong for that Rih vs Katy mess.

the ones that **** up were the tv people who put the studio version in the aired transmission, so yes she would have continue because she was doing everything right, she was singing in sync with her backing track

they did her wrong 2 times already, that show needs to be paid dust from now on , but she was a pro about it, i would probably run away completely embarrassed
