I disagree with quite a lot of what they said, especially about Gaga. I don't want her to develop on Born This Way at all - it was good, but it was a one-off kinda thing. She needs to continue on the path of songs like "Sexxx Dreams", "Do What U Want", and "G.U.Y." with some jazz on the side like the Tony album. We don't need any more pseudo-arena-rock, thank you.
They sort of have a point with Katy though. I agree that she needs to make a fully mature album next, she's far enough into her career to risk it now. I want that folk-inspired Joni Mitchell-esque album she said she wants to do. It's clear from songs on Prism like BTGOG, Ghost, Choose Your Battles, etc that she can be a mature songwriter when she wants to. She needs to work with Greg Wells more often, they work brilliantly together.
