Selling millions of records, getting countless #1's, selling out stadium tours (and overall huge commercial success) doesn't always make an "impact" or a "legend" out of someone. There are several people who never accomplished 25% of Rihanna's success and today they are considered icons and legends and have had an impact in the world.

Noone ever said Rihanna wasn't successful, but that does not translate into impact. The desperation.

The only impact she's left is how to properly market someone, who doesn't have much to offer, aside from her marketable looks, and turn her into one of the biggest popstars in the world. That's about it. Strip away the looks and the "in" producers and there's not much there.. Classic example of style over substance.

6. UMBRELLA and WFL are both ICON Videos. Rihanna is the most watched FEMALE on youtube.+ she is also the only female to win VIDEO of the YEAR TWICE
7. You PERSONALLY do not respect her as an artist or a Musician

People need to stop letting their own PERSONAL opinions on an artist get in the way of the truth

-She has no iconic performances
-Her only truly iconic moment in pop culture was Umbrella (and Chris Brown)
-She's a label installation like Katy who doesn't really do anything but churn out generic tunes tailored for pop radio

You're being too specific about SLY and Stay. It doesn't HAVE to also be a duet for it to be a knockoff. Stay is a SLY knockoff because SLY was very popular and there was nothing like on radio. Then Stay comes next having the same idea. You think that's a coincidence not her label carefully analyzing the charts to find a space Rihanna fit into?

Also Sia had a big hit with Titanium.

And We Found Love set NO trends. Even Starships came prior and that was already following trends.
