I think as long as there is some government hooker snippets in this performance, she won't go wrong.
Government hooker is such a dramatic/theatrics song, and that's what Gaga (and the VMAS) are all about (that and promo).
So, to me, as long as there's some GH + YAI in there, she's golden.
