WASHINGTON – Columbia songstress Beyonce received the highest Gold & Platinum album certification of any artist in January, according to the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) monthly count. Her double-identity release I Am…Sasha Fierce sold more than two million copies in only two months, earning the bold songstress double-Platinum honors. Additionally, her current hits “If I Were A Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” were certified Platinum.
I finally got on this board a month ago after a long wait.
It's so dead right now!! When the new era begins it will be nice. But you missed a lot, so much has happened during the IASF era. Even more happened during the B'Day era. But I missed that.

JJ: I’ve always been a massive MJ and Prince fan. When I was growing up, my mum and dad would play Tracy Chapman, D-Train…I’m a massive 80s punk fan and I love Funkadelics and Gap Band, Rose Royce. I just love 80s music. Like, the harmonies and the soul-ness of it. The melody and the lyrical content. Right now, I’m a huge Rihanna fan. I’ve always been slightly obsessed with her. And I think I idolize Beyoncé as a performer. But, you know, it’s weird because I don’t really get inspired a lot by other people. It’s gonna sound really awful like I don’t listen to music much because I do, but I don’t eat, breathe, live, smoke, eat — I said that already — music. I kind of just go with the flow. Like I’ll see a mum with her daughter playing in the street and that will spark an idea for a song. I don’t know. I don’t want to get too much inspired by what other people are doing because I don’t like copying them…but, yeah, I love writing songs. It’s my musical outlet.
NL: If you had your choice of a duet partner, who would be your dream partner?
JJ: Prince, all the way. Prince is like…oooh amazing! Him or Beyoncé. I think Beyoncé is the person that I think…Beyoncé, Jazmine Sullivan, Christina Aguilera, Kim Burrell, Pink…they vocally scare me, which is why I would love to work with them because I love a challenge. I would love to do a tune with Erykah Badu or Jazmine Sullivan or anyone I vocally idolize.
NL: If you could do an internship with any artist and learn from them first-hand, who would that be?
JJ: Oh my God. I would have to say Beyoncé. Ahead of everything, I just want to see her to see if she’s real and just to ask ‘how are you doing this? How are you conquering the world like this?’ I just think she’s amazing. I would kind of sit in and make notes.
April Fool's Records, Inc. has announced its 2010 lineup of new albums.
Beyonce... "I Am... Retiring"
The Queen of R&B & Popping ***** announced in January 2010 that she would be taking a short hiatus from recording. Beyoncé has now announced that she will be retiring from the music industry entirely to focus on having children with husband Jay-Z and future acting roles. Miss Knowles will officially bow out of her music career, much as she and her Destiny’s Child bandmates did years ago, with a final album, “I AM… Retiring”, to be released this December. In 2011, Beyoncé will embark on her farewell tour, and will later star in Dreamgirls 2, the next film in the Batman saga as Jonah Hill’s The Penguin’s henchwoman, and will be replacing Oprah’s time spot for her brand new talk show, “Honey Bee”. Other film roles which Beyoncé is currently pondering include Captain Jack Sparrow’s gal pal in Pirates of the Caribbean 4, a Breakfast Club remake, in which she would play the strict young principal of a New Orleans creole high school, and The Nutty Professor 3, in which she would play Denise and Sherman Klump’s (Janet Jackson and Eddie Murphy) lesbian marriage therapist. She is also looking to star in a spin-off television series, Glee University, which would see the characters of Glee as they graduate and head off to college. On this show, she will play Professor Angelica Downover, an astronomy lover and former nun who seeks to eliminate the college Glee program in return for the college funding her groundbreaking research on extraterrestrial activities. She will also star as Kelly Rowland in the Destiny’s Child biopic: “How 4 Became 2… and 4 Again… Then 3… And Then There Was One”. Guys, the Sweet Dreams performance was supposed to be like that.
It takes its dream bearing theme from the music video, she also chopped out verses/lines on purpose. The end tails back to the beginning, of the dream sequence. Are y'all that simple?
