I need help on Lightning Returns! Someone pls answer I can't post on NG bcos I'm perma'd

I need help for the End Day.
I'm in the Altar of Atonement (My last chamber) and I'm stuck on that dumb ass Earth Eater.
Does anyone know how to beat him under an hour? I spent a long ass time fighting him and made no progress. Though I really wanna quit I can't bcos I know I'll need the shield and weapon for Bhunivelze and I'm so ****ing close.

My set up is basically:

Schemata 1: L'ange Noir garb
Weapon 1: Executioner's Axe
Shield: Guard of Avalon
Accessories: Wolf's Emblem+ and Guard Glove
Abilities: Aerora Lv. 2, Aeroga Lv. 2, Thunder Lv, 2 (locked), Aero Lv. 2
Overall ATB: 140/140
Overall HP: 23362
Overall Stats: Strength - 1860, Magic - 1774, Speed - 85

Schemata 2: Cyber Jumpsuit garb
Weapon 2: Chaos's Revenge
Shield: Aegis Shield
Accessories: Ghostly Hood+, Metal Armband
Abilities: Dispel Lv. 2 (locked), Steelguard Lv. 3, Evade Lv, 2, Tornado Lv.1
Overall ATB: 140/140
Overall HP: 10075
Overall Stats: Strength - 89, Magic - 79, Speed - 130

Schemata 3: Nocturne garb
Weapon 3: Stigma
Shield: Dame du Lac
Accessories: Fighter's Emblem+ and Healer's Lore
Abilities: Attack Lv. 3, Mediguard Lv. 2, Attack Lv, 2 (locked), Heavy Slash Lv. 1
Overall ATB: 140/140
Overall HP: 17244
Overall Stats: Strength - 2439, Magic - 1944, Speed - 95

I use Schemata 1 to stagger, Schemata 2 to guard and block, Schemata 3 to attack after staggered and during Overclock/Army of One.

Any way to improve it? Other abilities that'd make it easier?
And if anyone can, can you tell me if this set up (Schemata 3's weapons and shields replaced with Ultima weapon and shield) would be sufficient for Bhunivelze?

Update: Thank you Reza and I Am Music. Beat Earth Eater in one go and made it to the later half of Bhunivelze's third form with only two EP.

I played the first 2 ones(Disgaea) and i really enjoyed both, Everything about it is over the top: story, characters, gameplay (ridiculous lvl/damage cap, crazy skills, lvl up your items in randomly generated dungeons, character creation, etc)
Now the 3rd one is, according to fans and critics, the weakest link in the series. The Vita port was better doe.

Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, & Eternal Sonata.

All of these on top of Tales of Symphonia & Ni no Kuni are going to keep me busy until probably the Fall.

I only played the ones from PS2 and I liked them, It seems the new ones are more focused on alchemy and stuff rather than battle system and rpg elements.

I've always passed the Atelier series up for whatever reason. Same with Disgaea, though I do plan on trying the original Disgaea out soon.

I don't know! I sent a video of gameplay to my best friend and he loved it and wants to start a play through tomorrow! It's been yeaaaaaars since I last played. I remember Rose, Meru, and Albert/Lavitz being my favorites but.. we shall see!

I love the XIII saga and it's so cheap now so it is up to you. NieR is an absolute must.
