For the next album, as long as it's flawless like her music always is I'll be fine. Because I know what to expect. There'll be plenty of early hype, nice promotion the first couple weeks of the album, then we only have singles and videos to look forward to. She's not in the early stages of her career anymore.
That's why Beyonce, GaGa, Rihanna all seem to be doing more. They are still getting their careers up. Britney's been here 11 years. We witnessed "Womanizer" blow up without one promotional move. "3" is one of her biggest hits without one single promotional move. We saw the
Blackout era sell nearly 3 million off of nothing.
And you all say "no tour please", when that is also an attribute to her older career. It's what she does now that she is a certified name, she can sellout huge tours and perform. I want another tour. No tour would be so stupid, especially since I'm sure another long break will come after this next album.
Surely next era we'll get a bit more than this one because hopefully she'll feel more secure and open. Like someone commented prior, she's very closed up because the public turned against her. Now she's had an amazing year, she should be a bit more confident to do more interviews/performances, etc.
We'll see. I'll always be a happy fan though, as long as the music is amazing.
Sure people have commented on her lower standards of performing, but other than that the era has re-generated Britney the artist. From the hit singles to the millions sold and the tour being as successful. The actual performing is the only thing honestly that has been truly criticized. Which we all have seen her do better at other times like the "Mannequin" rehearsal or behind the scenes clips.
