So, yes, a lot of people release albums months before Christmas (like Kelly, Leona, and Mary J Blige) but only Kelly seems to be selling incredibly well each week thus far.

ARTPOP will have absolutely no longevity whatsoever. Heck, BTW was a far bigger seller and that had a very short shelf life so I've no idea where this 'longevity' talk is coming from. ARTPOP may even miss Gold in the US (certainly platinum is out of the question). Yes, that sounds crazy but these are crazily bad times for Gaga. Looking like a huge %tage drop is imminent - BTW had a sort of excuse due to the 440k 99c Amazon sales but there are no such excuses this time.
