This is one of Alicia's best for me. I was very happy with how it sounded and honestly? It's only one of three albums released this year that I actually cared for. LOVED it so much and it was a very pleasant surprise. Alicia did it again.

It's a grower and I love that about the album, most albums that instantly impress tend to wear off after a short time.

Mhmmmmmmmmmmm this album is SO different from what I expected. Tbh I find a lot of it quite one note but honestly I appreciate the intimacy and delicacy to this album SO much. It's funny because with the album title I expected a lot of tribal drum-banging tracks, but most of it is so soft and pretty.

I would compare a lot of it to a warm fuzzy blanket. Such a gorgeous thing to listen to at 3:30am.

How many copies will this sell do y'all think?

Anyway, Alicia remains the most consistent, humble, relatable human being and one of the best voices of the industry all these years on.

I'm hoping around 300k... on one hand she has a very loyal, diverse fanbase and anyone who likes No One must like Girl On Fire... on the other hand, there are people who are turned off by her out of range singing, people who think her albums have gone downhill and people who are pressed over what happened with Swizz/Mashonda.
