Honestly, the GOP can choose anything but Kasich/Rubio as their ticket and still lose miserably. That's the only one that could effectively challenge Hillary.

Rubio would be a bigger threat to Hillary than Kasich I feel like. Mainly for his age and the fact that his being a Latin American. Also, he is one of the more well-spoken republican candidates.

It really doesn't matter which of the two is the main name on the ticket; it's the combination of the two that is so threatening. I don't feel like Rubio could pick someone else as VP and make a viable challenge to Clinton at this point; I do, however, think they could be a real threat if together.

Trump's most accurate statement of the whole campaign is that Jeb Bush is low energy. He has none of the folksy charisma that W. has and very little of the leadership qualities that H.W. has. Everything in his campaign has been wrong. From the slogans, to the messaging, to the debate performances, etc.

Jeb has been waiting for this moment for 20 years, and the opportunity has officially passed. The establishment sees its future in Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan, not Jeb Bush.

I don't think they would end up on a ticket together, honestly. Rubio would be the one to have the biggest threat to Clinton, I feel like. God knows none of the other Republican candidates could walk out of a debate against Hillary without being floored.

Hopefully they recognize the differences between Hillary and Bernie are much fewer than the differ than the differences between Bernie and any republican candidate.

Even Bernie has said Hillary would be a better president than any Republican. However, after watching the debate this weekend, I can't help but think more that Bernie is running only to bring issues into the limelight, not necessarily to get the nomination. I think it's hard to believe that he would think that he, as an independent (democratic) socialist, would be nominated for the capitalist Democratic Party.

The debate was overall an obvious attack on Hillary, but I think she enjoyed it because she does a good job under pressure and it was clear she even wanted Bernie to attack her personally.

June can't come soon enough.

Yeah they'll get to their senses after she's nominated.

Rubio/SC governor Nikki Haley or Rubio/NM governor Susanna Martinez would make a strong challenge to the Clinton/Castro ticket.

I'm not convinced any longer that it will be Clinton/Castro. There are weaknesses in that ticket that I think it would be wise of the Democrats and Hillary to address.
