I feel like I'm supposed to love To Pimp A Butterfly, but I just... kinda don't? It's so hard to get through. I've heard it twice now and haven't had any desire to replay any of the tracks other than like "i" and "Complexion". I appreciate his lyricism and message, but the whole thing just feels so dense, wordy, and overwrought. Still should have won the Grammy over 1989, though.

Id recommend Vince Staples' Summertime 06 tbh, it was my favorite rap album last year.
