Who cares. You can't capture all of the gay community in one half hour TV show like bye. They don't owe y'all ****.

Looking was a good, and it certainly wasn't doing anyone any harm so celebrating its cancellation is silly to say the least. Some of the characters aren't my cup of tea either but that's the case with any tv series.

I kept trying to give it a go. I stopped watching half way through season 2. I understand that flawed characters are more interesting, but there should be at least one character who's slightly likeable.

Patrick and Richie grew on me, as did Tovey's character, but I can see why people wouldn't use them. Agustín makes me visibly wince but I feel like they've focused less on him in season two which I am very grateful for.
As far as representation, I think they did a decent job w/o making it feel forced.
lbr, most San Francisco gay scenes are whitewashed. So it was accurate in that regard.
But they had prominent Hispanic characters, a semi-recurring black man, a semi-recurring asian guy, and Dom even gave head to a black guy.
The thing I liked about the show was that it wasn't so campy and forced.
Not surprised. It would have only been renewed with the ratings they were serving was if it was getting Emmy/Golden Globes nominations, which was not happening.
Yeah it was regularly getting 0.1 ratings and even got the shame of going down to a 0.0.
like boo hoo get over it.
