Rihanna re-peaked with LOUD, and her tour gross is only going up, while Gaga is falling in every single acpect of music industry

And Rihanna is not underperforming with singles

Most artists actually peak early. Britney peaked first album, Mariah peaked third album, Rihanna peaked third album, Katy peaked second album, and Adele peaked her second album. Doesn't mean you can't still make an impressive career.

Loud Tour: $90M (98 dates)
Diamonds World Tour: $141M (96 dates)
Total: $271M / 259 shows

Monster Ball Tour: $238M (203 dates)
Born This Way Ball Tour: $183M (98 dates)
artRAVE: $83M (79 dates)
Total: $504M / 380 shows

So, if Rihanna's next tour has 120 dates and grosses as $233M, then she will be on Lady Gaga's level as a touring force.

You see, when you have a peak as HUGE as Lady Gaga's, it's hard to outdo it.

Rihanna hasn't come close to grossing $200M on a tour, something that Lady Gaga would have done twice - and with her first 3 albums - had her second headlining world tour not been cancelled due to her hip injury.

Yes, Rihanna's tour gross is only increasing, but she was never on Lady Gaga's level to begin with. So the comparison you're making here is futile.

If she didn't peak why did Unapologetic sell 1/3 and fail to spawn half as many hits as GGGB?

I love how ATRL loves to use touring as a savior for receipts during eras. Tours literally don't normally depend on how an era is doing, tours correlate to an artists' starpower at the moment.

There's a reason Katy did 60M during her 'female Thriller' era, and then triple that during the era that did half of that. She was still not a top Pop star, coming only 2 albums in, and didn't have a big enough career. Now without a doubt she's one of the biggest artists this decade, and has a catalogue of hits.

The same can be applied to Beyonce doing $200M tours when even her singles underperform and the eras aren't as huge, it's linked to her starpower. Madonna can sell 300K and do a $250M tour, because her starpower.

Stop always trying to correlate tours to eras, when they really rarely have anything to do with them. Such a dumb excuse. Gaga also did much more comparatively during the BTW Ball compared to TF Ball even with much less hits, and sales because of her starpower at the time was through the roof.

What you don't seem to understand is going from 10 to 5 is better than going from 1 to 2, just because someone is increasing doesn't make it better. When you start huge even if you drop you are still bigger than someone who is at the bottom making their way up lol
