Ugh the Artist charts are ruined now. Like the whole point was to measure who was dominating the chart through the year. 1D didn't doninate anything but the album chart for a week. Touring receipts do need recognition else wise but they do not reflect the chart properly.
1D, Bruce, and Cher have a nice fanbase that supports but we know their positions don't correspond to how actually relevant they were to the music scene in 2014.
Do we atleast have the single Year End charts + Airplay, Streamimg, etc yet? On mobile.

A #4 album and #24 single from 1D doesn't seem like one-week irrelevant domination to me
DWUW declined in January due to lack of promo and no video.

it's obviously because of C2C, which is impressive imo.
The Billboard year end charts are from December to November. More than half of ARTPOP sales counted for 2014 and almost all the chart run of DWYW counted for the 2014 year end chart too.
