1. Publicists have lied on the behalf of their clients all the time, for a whole bevy of reasons. I realize that might not be the case here. I just find that more plausible than that Mark Geragos made that up out of thin air, knowing the repercussions that would come were it false.
2. I never said it was. I think he has some endgame here, but just because I can't think of one doesn't mean there wasn't one.
3. Why would he depose Gaga without some reason to believe that she did indeed know something about this case?
You guys seem to think her lawyer is just some cheap, freshman public defender when he's actually one of the most well-known lawyers in the country. He wouldn't be the go-to rep for wealthy celebrities if he was as incompetent as you people are making him out to be.
