I feel like the media always makes some things bigger than it actually is. I don't think the GP cares about Beyonce (or her self titled album) that much. And I don't get why she didn't perform her greatest hits. Everyone got bored after the 1st song because no one (except her fans) knew the songs.

Since when is 2 million people everyone in the country? The US has 150 times that number of people. At least Adele's 21 sold 10m in the US and you don't get people worshipping that album that much in this site.

Do you honestly believe that if someone else was promoted in her place that it would have been much different, assuming the same acts were performing as well?

The biggest years' ratings had MULTIPLE superstars not just 1-2.
