Some of those stories sound completely fabricated tbh, especially this one. The person says "So I wasn’t on Barney and BFFs with Selena Gomez", when in actual fact neither of the girls were particularly famous or popular, so why would they act as if being friends with Selena Gomez from Barney made Demi superior to them. The story doesn't make sense + the overdramatic tone of the writer makes it sound v. unconving

I’ll see a magazine article, a commercial, a youtube video, a tweet, a post, a picture. And it just infuriates me. My eyebrows furrow and my muscles tense up and I get this awful feeling in my stomach. Hatred. Shame. Jealousy. The injustice of it all just wells up inside of me and there’s just no way to release it. I don’t know why this has been the one thing I have never been able to let go. I don’t hold grudges. But this is just too much. It affected me too much. It changed my life. It ruined my childhood. She destroyed me. I never understood why she just flat out hated me. I was different, yeah, but what did I do to deserve what she did to me? What she said to me? How she acted towards me? So I was a tomboy. How was that her business? So I wasn’t the daughter of a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader. Who cares? So I wasn’t on Barney and BFFs with Selena Gomez. I didn’t want any of that. So I wasn’t beautiful and popular. Why did she have to rub it in my face?

this is great, there are lots of stories.

Went to elementary school with Justin Bieber. He was a nice guy, but a lot of people made fun of him cause he was short. I remember he was really good at sports and singing, though. One day he came to school and told everyone he was going to get a record deal and that he met Usher. No one believed him.

Yeah some of them sound a little weird and others contradict with each other.

Still a lot of them are pretty interesting.

I know a few people who went to high school with Taylor Swift, and they know "Drew" that she sang about in one of her first songs. They said she was a bitch, but she had the right to be because when she moved to their school she was already starting to receive attention for her music career. Most people were only trying to be friends with her because her fame, and she didn't like that. They said that she donated to their music program though once she became famous.

She was made fun of in middle school because she had different dreams (who wants to become a country artist in Pennsylvania?) and was singing in karaokes contests, writing songs etc instead of hanging out with people.
In Highschool the worst stories I've read are about her being "a normal teenager" which I guess means she probably said some rude things to some people she didn't like but no stories about her being a bully came out.
And yes she was already signed to RCA Records and a A&F model before starting HS so yes she was already "known" and she was signed to her current record at the beginning of sophomore year.
Tbh I've never heard anything bad about her in HS and considering she's been in the business for 8 years, it would have been revealed at this point.
