Yes, but each song is counted individually.
Also remember that subscription services were once quite popular in the US before iTunes and Amazon completely took over. Prices have increased a lot in Korea and this year there's been a significant crack-down by the both the charts company and the music labels to stop fake sales and streaming. There has been some progress and hopefully that will continue
