I hate that she left of Got Me Good, I love that song. Sweat I can understand since it never made it's way on a big scale, but Got Me Good got pretty much the full single threatment!
Anyway lets hope Rick Ross was taken off Boy Outta Here... Im here for a rap from CICI on that one.. (or that it is at least left on the album!)
I dont think the Future duet is the Sorry remix, as its just a wasted opportunity.. Im here for a Future style ballad. Something along the lines of Turn On The lights, or Neva End..
I love GMG but if "Sorry" and "Body Party" are any indications of how the album will sound then GMG nor Sweat would flow well.... I hope she delievers an album that you can listen to from beginning to end..
I'm not surprised "Sweat" and "GMG" are being left off the album, they seem to be going for a more R&B sound. Urban, grown, and sexy is what I'm getting from the things she's said about it. Neither "Sweat" or "GMG" fit that tone and they both flopped, where as "Sorry" did alright in the R&B world and fits the sound I think they're going for.
I also think its safe to say the June 4th date will stick, I'm pretty sure the people over at Epic are tired of re-working and pushing the same album for damn near a year now with pretty much nothing to show for it.
That being said, it'll be interesting to see how they handle the next two months of this project, because they are crucial. The promo is going to need to be sick to help build hype for the album. They should try to get her to perform at the MTV Movie awards, Billboard awards, and American Idol (closer to the finale/her release date).
Sorry did better than Got Me Good and a lot more people liked it. GMG was nice but it just didn't get any attention.
even if I'll use it as a bonus track on my iPod, we will have more space for newer songs
