Flo Rida had one heck of a 2012 and love how he is actually whistling this whole song.
This is Flo Rida's second appearance and last appearance of the year...but I don't think
Flo Rida released a song this year I didn't like..."I Cry" came close to making my top 100
but didn't...it might make the top 100 of 2013 though...we'll see and his new single "Let It
Roll" should definitely make a splash in 2013.
#075- David Guetta f/ Chris Brown & Lil' Wayne "I Can Only Imagine"
This is David Guetta's first appearance for the year-end 2012...and this is a wonderful
collaboration by three of the biggest music stars right now. There are two other
appearances by David Guetta still to come...where will his other two hits land? Stay tuned.
#074 - One Republic "Feel Again"
One Republic's "Feel Again" got off to a late start going up the charts...but One Republic
sure had a great chart run with this song...and on my personal countdown...it did very
well becoming a top 10 hit for them on my chart. I have loved One Republic since
they teamed up with Timbaland on "Apologize"...I expect them to be around for awhile.
#073- Gotye f/ Kimbra "Somebody That I Used To Know"
Gotye had a very good year this year with this song...this song was EVERYWHERE and it
became a monstrous hit for Gotye...I am still interested in seeing if he can avoid
becoming a one-hit wonder...we'll see.
#072- Will.I.Am. f/ Jennifer Lopez & Mick Jagger "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)"
Not one of my favorite Will.I.Am. jams...but the collaboration with Jennifer Lopez and the
great Mick Jagger made this song make it's way on my weekly countdown earlier this year
and did well enough to make my #072 of the year...look forward to anymore Will.I.Am.
collaborations including to see how well his and Britney's "Scream And Shout" does on
the charts.
#071- Professor Green f/ Emeli Sande "Read All About It, Part II"
So...love this collaboration by Professor Green (aka the British version of Eminem)...don't
know if I agree with that...but maybe and Emeli Sande...these two made one heck of a
collaboration. I hope both of these two amazing artists are around for a long time and
I wish them both a lot of success.
#070- Conor Maynard "Vegas Girl"
Another british invasion artist...Conor Maynard has an amazing voice and he is very
talented for his age...I expect many more hits out of him in the next few years, plus he
seems to have no problems with the ladies
#069- One Direction "What Makes You Beautiful"
Well...pretty much the song that put One Direction on the map. These guys definitely have
a great girl fan base and they do have amazing voices...I expect a lot more hits out of them
and this is their first appearance on my year-end countdown this year.
#068- Katy Perry "Part Of Me"
Katy Perry...just an amazing artist and she has a very awesome voice..."Part Of Me" was
everywhere this year...every time I turned on the radio it was on...so a solid hit for Miss
Perry...this is her first appearance this year..stay tuned for more Katy Perry.
#067- Beyonce "Love On Top"
"Love On Top" was one of Beyonce's "hidden" songs as I like to say...didn't do anything on
the charts that I know of...but I was playing this song non-stop at times and I love the
video...I look forward to many more Beyonce "hidden" songs in the future.
#066 - #064 to come tomorrow sometime...working like crazy because of Christmas but will post them and will comment your year-end charts probably tonight after work. I promise
Flo can whistle pretty well, I Can Only Imagine is such a good Rhythmic track to just let it imagine a feeling done well by these guys, Feel Again is a nice track, STIUTK is a great and is one of the biggest song of the years as for being a one-hit wonder well it’s turning to be that so far. Part of me is nice also and like Love on top. Nice set so far. Wonder what the next set have in store.
This song by The Script & Will.I.Am. is one of my favorite collaborations of the year. I know
it is very low on my chart though...but that is because this tune took a little while to grow on me because of not hearing it very much. Once it got a better amount of airplay I became hooked and that is why it made it to #066.
#065- Katy Perry "Wide Awake"
Katy Perry is just such a great artist and this woman had one heck of a 2012. I expect much more from her in 2013. "Wide Awake" is an awesome song too and it did start to get overplayed but I still loved it and definitely a big hit for Miss Katy Perry
#064- No Doubt "Settle Down"
It was amazing to see No Doubt back in 2012. Settle Down was a great song to kick off their awesome return and I hope they have as much success as they did back in the 90s. Gwen Stefani has a great voice and I love this group because they are all really good friends too and that is awesome. Wish I could start a band with my friends
#063- Gym Class Heroes f/ Ryan Tedder "The Fighter"
Gym Class Heroes...I have loved this group since "Cupid's Chokehold" but in this song they seemed to show their emotional side a little and I love that. I just wish this song would have been a top 5 hit...but it's all good.
#062- Hot Chelle Rae "Honestly"
Love this song from Hot Chelle Rae..."Honestly" was a fun song and I am looking forward to many more great songs from Hot Chelle Rae...not too mention they are an awesome group.
#061- Rihanna f/ Calvin Harris "We Found Love"
This song made my year-end last year as well...much higher last year...but this year...did well enough to make it to #061. Awesome collaboration and it seems like musically Rihanna has hit after hit after hit. Love this girl.
The Queen of R&B and one of my favorite Male artists...can't go wrong with Miss Mary J. Blige teaming with Drake. This was one of my favorite jams this year...it did make it to #3 on my countdown but only could make it to #060 for the year.
#059- Enrique Iglesias f/ Sammy Adams "Finally Found You"
Enrique & Sammy Adams...who could ask for a better pair...love this collaboration and I thought this song would be a #1 hit...but that was not meant to be...but still an amazing song...I expect much more from Enrique && Sammy Adams.
#058- Justin Bieber "Boyfriend"
Justin's "Boyfriend" makes it to #058 on my countdown. I first thought this song was by Justin Timberlake at first...but nonetheless...an amazing jam. Bieber has a very bright career ahead of him...and you know you are good if you have haters so get it Bieber
#057- Rihanna "Where Have You Been"
Rihanna has another big hit on her hands with "Where Have You Been"...this girl just can do no wrong. Loveee this jam and I have loved Rihanna since "Pon De Replay"...many more years of hits for her...can't wait to see what she has in store for 2013.
#056- Dierks Bentley "5-1-5-0"
Someone call the Po Po...Dierks Bentley is one of my favorite country artists and "5-1-5-0" is one of my favorite country songs of the year. Can't wait to see what other smash country hits Dierks is going to have in 2013.
Ellie Goulding's "Anything Could Happen" is such a great song and this is Ellie's first appearance on my top 100 of 2012. Where will "Lights" end up...I expect this song to at least be a top 5 hit...at least I hope so. She is such an amazing artist.
#054- Karmin "Crash Your Party"
This song was my first song that I heard by Karmin and I fell in love with it...I have two more Karmin singles coming up...where will "Hello" & "Brokenhearted" end up? Karmin are great artists and I hope to hear a lot more great music from Karmin.
#53- B.O.B. "So Good"
I heard this "So Good" song many times this year...as a matter of fact...as I am writing this...I just heard it...lol. B.O.B. is an awesome singer and I can't wait to see what other singles B.O.B. will release in the near future.
#052- P!nk "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)"
P!nk is a wonderful musician...and I loved the fact that P!nk came back with such a great single this year. "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" is a great song and you know Dj's loved saying the title for obvious reasons. I also can't wait to see how well "Try" does on the charts.
#051- JoJo "Disaster"
I love JoJo and can't believe her record label dropped her. I hope she gets back on a record label soon...because she is such a great artist. I have loved her since "Leave (Get Out)"
#050- Chris Wallace "Remember When (Push Rewind)"
Chris Wallace...what to say...new artist and this song took a little while to grow on me...but once it did...I fell in love with it and just saw the video again last night and he has a very bright music career.
#049- Gym Class Heroes f/ Neon Hitch "Ass Back Home"
Wonderful collaboration by Gym Class Heroes and my girl Neon Hitch! This song was my anthem everytime someone left the house this year...lol
#048- Maroon 5 f/ Wiz Khalifa "Payphone"
Maroon 5 had one heck of a 2012 and I expect many more hits from this group. I even forgot that Payphones still even existed...and you can't go wrong with Adam Levine.
#047- Dev f/ Enrique Iglesias "Naked"
Dev is an amazing singer and I love this collaboration of her and Enrique. Great team and I loved listening to this dark single...I wish the single would have done better though.
#046- Scotty McCreery "The Trouble With Girls"
I know this is a country song...but "The Trouble With Girls" by Scotty McCreery is an amazing song and I fell in love with it and it comes in at #046 for the year on my countdown of the top 100 of 2012
