Jahmene confirmed on the xtra factor that they both couldnt hear nicoles mic in their ear pieces.. Nicole was such a professional, if she didnt grab jahmenes mic, jahmene wouldve missed his cues .

She was probably panicking in her head. She also gave the mic to jahmene even when she wasnt finished with her line though.
