Florence but to be fair she has a completely different style than Beyonce. Neither could sing the others music. However, Florence just has that power in her voice that leaves you breathless. She truly has a gift.
I love her music and lyrics but sometimes her voice is painful to listen to. It sounds screechy to me.I never said bad control, but it certainly can be improved.
It sounds screechy because her voice is naturally like that. It's her vibrato. And it is a GIFT from the heavens.

I meant when she really goes for it, and belts. To me it sounds...banshee-esque. That's the only thing I don't like. Some love her tone though so...
Her belt is controlled flawlessly, it's just she has a vibrato that can shake an entire room. It's loud and overpowering. You may not like it but it's perfect.

Nobody said she doesn't have a good vocal control. But I have never seen Beyoncé belt as powerfully as Florence in full chest voice and then go back down to a soft, warm head-voice.
