The story isn't confusing at all. I guess some people are just slow.
And to the person who said Colin Farrell is A list star, not really. There's a reason why a lot of the billboards for the movie just have the name or Kate Beckinsale alone.
I don't even understand that budget. How do you make a movie this expensive and not even get one bankable big star who can open the movie? They didn't even bother to hire a relevant young starlet. No logic to this casting.

Len Wiseman is the director and he's Kate Beckinsale's husband. I guess he wanted her to be star of the movie.
Such a shame, it looks entertaining enough to go watch. I'm going to ask for a discount though, because im not here for paying full price ticket to see Jessica.
I wasn't and I'm still not really fond of this remake. It just seems so unnecessary, as most remakes are.
Nothing in the trailers really stood out to me and a lot of the scenes and dialogue are straight from the original. I don't know...

In the original Sharon Stone, the "wife", is actually there to make sure her "husband" stays completely oblivious to who he really is until the time's right. She's basically a spy/informant/assassin. With Kate, it really drives the point home that she's actually doing a job when her real accent comes through.
I know. I've seen the original, but in the trailer Kate has an American accent again afterwards. Or maybe it was just an earlier scene used later in the trailer. The only thing I like is that the wives have bigger roles in this movie.
Also, I don't understand how they're getting rid of the Mars part of the story, but I guess everything's being combined into one planet.
