Same goes for Australia. I mean, she's had heaps of top ten singles here, but they plummet really quickly. I also don't hear her on the radio that often. People loose interest in her fast. HIAM and TTWE both went top 10 here, but the following 2 singles haven't done nearly as well. IWG reached #32, which is pretty disappointing, and Criminal is yet to make a decent impact on the charts at all.
It's not about knowing the artist, it's about the artist being popular in the country.

Exactly! I didn't say Beyonce sells tons of albums here in Mexico.. what i said was "everyone knows who she is"!! and yes Adele is selling everywhere in the world, do people actually knows who she is? NO! they just know shes a brit with overweight that sings too good for mainstream!
