Being a fashion icon is not meaning much when your stylist is the one who made you. All she has to do is lend her body, shave her pubes (we know she got that punani exposed on the regular), wax her inbetween tatas and get the praise.

Everyone who's ever been a fashion icon has most likely had a stylist.

Plus I don't really think you have a very sound logic with your argument.

Neither did most of the great directors, which I think kinda speaks to her point about "lay people" being capable of making valid contributions to the discourse that may be more meaningful than what the professionals who've gotten lazy in their criticisms can offer. You don't have to go to a certain school to "do the research."

I understand the point about paying your dues and earning respect, though.
