So true... guns seem to be of the lowest priority for our government even after all the shootings that have occurred this year... and now we have this to deal with. I'm sure there will be more, it's hard to feel safe when they make it so easy for sick people to make it happen.

I guess we never really think of all the secondhand victims (if you want to call it that); the parents, family members and friends who have to suffer emotionally afterward.

Can you imagine a parent having to look at the presents under their christmas tree after this? I would burn everything dealing with that holiday. That has to be an eternal pain only someone going through it can understand. It hurts my heart every time I think about it. Thank you BoyOnWonder for that beautiful prayer.

My heart is broken too, and I have a hard time even thinking about how those parents continue through the holiday season and every one after.
