It's inevitable. This song, from it's ridiculous lyrics to it's Diplo/Skrillex/Bieber-esque production, could not pander more to the iTunes audience and key teen demo on Top 40. It's like "We Are Young," but instead of invoking nostalgia, which was in at the time, this fits right in with the megalomania/contrarian fever permeating the current body politic. Bar the bridge, I don't like it, but it's hit potential here is undeniable. At least she'll be on mainstream radio.
