Me fume over a 3rd grade vocabulary? At least turn on autocorrect hny doll. It might help you communicate why you're pressed more clearly.

But you kind have to listen to her album . You are not a fan, you do not listen to her material. You do not know the difference between Debut and Biophilia. And you are just embarrassing yourself by acting like you do. Who you think you're fooling? You couldn't even post receipts for bjork

Rihanna has done tons of Dubstep, and it all started with Rated R when she worked with Chase & Status. They're a Dubstep duo. Songs like Red Lipstick and Mad House were instrumental dubstep tracks produced by Chase & Status before Rihanna released them with her vocals. They also produced Wait Your Turn and G4L which have dubstep influences. And lastly, Jump has a heavy dub step beat drop produced by Chase & Status.
I would consider the four songs you listed to be dance pop. They don't really focus on the electronic production as much some songs she's done.

I guess I see SOS and Disturbia to be more "dance pop", but I get what you're saying about those 4 songs. They're somewhere in between the two spectrums. But thanks for answering again

tbvh,BEYONCÉ, the album, has more diversity than rih had with most her albums. So no, Rih isn't the most diverse. Bey isn't the most diverse either, but she has done more than Rih. Like Arabic music for example

Beyonce as well. Pop, R&B, Urban. Latin (also holds the biggest selling single in Spain). Adult Contemporary. Blues. Dance etc. Even had a country legend re-do her record and released as her first single.

|
If all of rihanna's music sound the same to you then I hate to break it to you but you are legally DEAF.

Nope, they were basically saying Rihanna was copying Beyonce. Drais even said it here: http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.ph...47423#19847423
and that's what made people start talking about Beyonce copying Rihanna with her sexuality
.

providing examples of rihanna creating songs similar to one's bey already has is only proof that if rihanna's music is diverse then so is bey's. Once again, no one in the beyhive blatantly stated that bey has created any musical genre. but the navy is consistently implying that bey only started making sexual music after rihanna, as if she's jumping on some trend that she started
|
No, it's really not proof of that, because all that shows is Rihanna's made SOME similar music to Beyonce, that's it. Those are just a handful of songs, compared to the dozens of songs that have been brought up in this thread that show how diverse Rih's music is. The fact of the matter is BOTH the Navy and the Hive are guilty of acting like their fave copies the other and acting like their fave owns a certain type of music when it's not true.

Also, there was no need to be rude. And I'm not even a big Beyonce fan but why are Rihanna stans always pressed about her? And always so rude, I feel like they spend all their child support/welfare money on internet & cool-aide.

Yes those too. They pretty much feature vocals throughout the song and don't really focus on the production, though there are dance elements.

And that **** isn't rude? Give me a break. It was the Hive that started bringing up Beyonce's name in this thread and resorting to personal attacks when there was no need for it.

The Hive really needs to stop trying to act like Beyonce's image this era is less or equally as sexual as she's been in the past. Y'all sound dumb. Regardless of sexual songs she's done in the past (Baby Boy, Green Light, Dance For You, take your pick) Beyonce has NEVER been as explicit as she was on this album. Nor have her lead singles and most popular album songs been so sexual.
Sure, the album may have a diverse range of topics, but please tell me what the Hive/pop music enthusiasts/casual fans/critics/the GP have focused on the most? Tell me what songs have been talked about the most? Tell me what themes most people think about when this album is brought up?
Despite collaborating with popular artists such as Drake and Frank Ocean, despite the release strategy, despite her vocals, despite her family-friendly image, people are mostly focused on Beyonce's moans and sexual pleas. #Surfboardt has become synonymous with this era for ****'s sake. No one seems to care about her cynicism towards the music industry, the emotional relationship she has with her husband, her thoughts on motherhood, or her reflections about death. Instead everyone's talking about how hot she looks in her videos, her getting Monica Lewinsky'd, or how shocked they are by this sudden image change.
You are DELUSIONAL if you think that people care about the whole picture. Beyonce's sexual side was showcased on this album and it's all anyone really cares about. Her blatant sexuality is the centerpiece. It may suck to see your fave labeled in ways you disagree with or to see people form opinions based on one element of your fave's music, but too bad. You all have done the same thing to countless artists in the past, including Rihanna.
It must hurt to see your fave do everything you claimed they were above. To have to suddenly change your opinions on female sexuality and using one's personal life in their music literally over night... Poor Hive. Praying for hot 100 success now that she's lost her classy image and reputation for amazing performances. Sad.
|
You forgot to start this essay with a thesis honey....
It's not Beyonce's fault that people are too ignorant and narrow minded to understand the depth of SELF - TITLED, and I never expected them to, nor am I angry or hurt at the ignorant opinions people have formulated
Beyonce is still classy and she still gives amazing performances....
Scratch this whole thing and try again please
