You're supposed to use your judgement of which photo is the best, not others. How are you a top member if you rely on others to choose?

I'm extremely confused, because I feel like we're getting different definitions of what a top member should or shouldn't be from each of the judges and from Angelo....
Angelo says we have to be able to use our resources and influence people to vote for us...
Foxay says when voting rounds came up she asked around 500 people to vote each time....
Matty says we shouldn't ask people to vote for us because we should stand out on our own, and doing so only makes us seem like we can't hold our own in the competition....
There is far too much contradiction... and it has the potential to make people's heads spin...
How can we compete for something with such a broadly interpreted meaning? Especially when those interpretations are coming from the people running the competition? Please clarify...

OH, okay. Thanks for letting me know. I was gonna say, if I have to make an Christina Aguilera picture thread, people will shade her to the end of the earth and back.

And in response to the members making threads so others can make decisions for you, what does that say about your ability to lead as a top member? What does that say about your approach to the competition?
To me it says that you are trying to please the general public here rather than yourself and the judges. I think this challenge is about putting you slightly out of your comfort zone with an artist you don't stan for..asking you to research them and come up with a look that optimises them at their finest. Not to get other people to do it for us.

Okay, good! I was a little confused when I saw the threads. I just sent mine in, too. But I got Christina Aguilera, so it was really hard to find a picture that wasn't too over-the-top. I think I picked a good one though!

Everyone has their own style and their own strengths. It's about finding yours and working it.

I think in the end we should be ourselves, but I completely agree, all these are just the different ways the people see the game as being played. I don't think there is a wrong or right way, but some people are making it seem like you have to play it a certain way, which I think is confusing.

Michael, you should be happy to know I asked the mods to close my thread... I'm not trying to start a fight or trying to cause anyone to be upset, but as you aren't responding to my posts here or my PM, I have no choice. We are supposed to PM what we think is the best Red Carpet Photo of our assigned celeb, but Angelo did not say we couldn't ask other people for their opinions or if they could help us find pictures. Because Angelo has not yet responded to my PM, I have opted to just close it.
