I didn't necessarily it was Gaga's fault, but that period of time wasn't great for promotion. She missed a few major opportunities, however. And it wasn't really given much promotion
TEOG had more. True, she performed on NYE, but that was right before the countdown when it was unlikely to have much of an effect, and the other promotional performances were fairly low-key. She didn't even broadcast her Thanksgiving performance on TV when it came to it!
