this just isn't something Bey would write.. And it shows in her performance.
I wonder how the pregnancy is gonna inspire her music. Can't wait for her next album (already lol). I mean will she make some cheesefest a la Britney's "My Baby" or will it be something profound like Lauryn Hill's To Zion. Definitely think she could pull off something like the latter. I have a feeling her next album is gonna be out of the park AMAZING.

Don't start on Glitter, because Never Too Far, Reflection, Lead the Way, and Twister **** on most discographies.
And that doesn't sound like something she would write? Start Over could EASILY be a followup to Dangerously In Love 2. And regardless of if she wrote it or not, it doesn't change her performance at ALL. She didn't write 1+1, we've all heard the demo, and yet, she still puts her all into the song. Same with Start Over. When she sings:
I know that this may hurt you
I know you'll cry
I know I called you selfish
But that's a lie
I feel I know whats the best for us
Lets... start over
You can truly feel the pain pouring out of her voice, it's beautiful. She sings Start Over from the heart. Start Over is easily one of the most relatable songs Bey has ever done. I haven't even gone through something like that and that song made me feel like I had. I can only imagine what others who have gone through that would feel.
SMH. Where's Ra when you need him? We're obviously not going to agree. I love Start Over, you don't, it is what it is.
Why u fail to get my humor everytime makes me wonder if the good lord blessed u with a brain.
