There wasn't anything wrong with Born This Way's music per se, but the imagery was very dark. The GP can't relate to a lot of the imagery our pop stars put out, but that's not the point. The GP uses music for association and in some cases, identity. I can see why they jumped ship once Gaga was all about black, weird makeup (Judas), prosthetics, leather, etc.

She could come back, but she'd need to clean up her image to be more glamorous and make music where she isn't power belting through the chorus and verses. But this would go against everything she preached at the SXSW keynote.

I hate u when u say that Judas ruined Gaga's career..For example here in Spain was more succesful than Applause. Everybody knows in Europe the Judas-Juda ah ah...One flop in USA doesn't mean it will flop worldwide.

I think her biggest mistakes were TEOG VIDEO, LISTEN THE ADVICES OF HER FRIENDS BEFORE LISTENING HER MANAGER, HER BETRAYS, DWYW VIDEO RUINED THE ARTPOP ERA, NOT ENOUGH PROMO THIS ERA...

I think btw didn't destroy her career, she make mistakes but nothing to ruin a career...Now, she needs to write songs with a clear and easy meaning lyrics and music more catchy than ARTPOP ( aura it's an example, perfect chorus but the first minute it's not for the GP). She needs to do at least one smash hit with basic music which the GP likes to recover her status of queen of music. GP thinks that there's not more gaga beyond Bad Romance and Alejandro...

Honestly, I think the problem was her "artistic visions".

Her videos from The Fame era weren't particularly artsy or symbolic, though visually stunning and well put together.

Her videos from The Fame Monster era were a little more creative (which worked for the time being) and we ended up with some beautiful videos (Bad Romance, Telephone) and the artsy ****o mess, Alejandro.

Her videos since then have been, for the most part, overly long, "artistic", "deep", somewhat hard to follow, in some cases poorly shot, and in the cases of Applause and GUY, just a mish-mash of different ideas without a clear link,


I think she tried to be too different and artistic, in short.
