Start Without You actually got some semi-decent radio play. I know Capital FM playlisted it. Obviously radio 1 just completely ignored it, but yeah, was kind of understandable.

Tbh, Let It Go is just not that good and I see why radio didn't touch it, similar to how they treated Dance Again by JLo

I stanned for Alex during the Overcome era (and from the X Factor shows) but she's disappointed a hell-of-alot of people by releasing Let It Go, and to an extent, Elephant too. In terms of quality; Elephant>>>>Let IT Go. It was obvious from the offset when she said that her sophmore album was going to be dancey/europop (I can't remember exactly what she said) that it was going to be generic and just...basic. Alex

She actually said it was to be based on Soul anthems, Donna Summer and Soul II Soul. I think RCA have messed too much, label intervention. Considering all her covers are soul or acoustics with a soulful touch, this seems odd. BTS, DR and the not electro heavy tracks seem like her. A mess. What she said it would be, it certainly is not.

Because it's generic trash that has not one ounce of creativity or originality. Alexandra is capable of much better and "Let It Go" is beneath her. It's an okay song, but it's nothing interesting.
