I have no idea why Retouch My Body gets so much flack, yet Soy (I Need You) is regarded so highly. It's utter garbage. I know charts usually don't reflect quality, but there's a reason that the former went on to become her last #1 single while the latter didn't even chart.

I can only imagine the ruthless bloodbaths that must have gone down in 2005 between Madead and Moo stans. Both of them had massive success throughout the 90's and early 2000's only for them to nearly destroy their careers for good (Glitter, American Life), and then they both had their comeback albums come out around the same time and sell on par WW.
Moo's U.S. success far outweighed her success in Europe, and vice versa with Madead. It must have been fun to watch.

You mean the same year that Madonna had a much bigger comeback, topped the charts in record breaking 44 (?) countries. Had her lead single top WW chart for 15 weeks only to have it replaced by her second single for another 7 for a grand total of 22 consecutive weeks on top of ww chart. Great album sales (12m+ ?). Followed by then biggest female tour of all time. Poor Moo indeed.
