Whoever said that Shades of Cool was Blue Jeans and Million Dollar Man put together, was right. I love Shades of Cool, it sounds like her older stuff + BTD. I honestly love both BTD and AKA as much as each other so I'm loving how the songs this era sound like a combination of the two.
took me a few listens to really get into shades of cool but i like it, this sound can really take you away but you also gotta be in the mood imo, like shades of cool sounds real good right now at night just laying in my bed but i cant really form a much stable opinion idk i feel like i need to listen to the whole album then i can really judge.
Just listened for the first time - it's a sweet wee ballad but definitely an album track that probably should have been a B-Side. Very snoozy. That being said, I said the same about "West Coast" which I now love so don't come at me for this if I change my mind.

She is going in the right direction with this album. She is a true artist. Music not the bling indeed.
Some people obviously would trash her new sound but they will bandwagon if she finds success again... I am a bit worried tho because its quite a bit so different compared to BTD.
