The End is Going to be AWESOME! | Singles (10-8)
Tomorrow is the start of classes. Oh ****.
Top 30 Singles of 2011 (10-08)
I'm one the edge of someone like nothing, nothing.
| 10. Lady GaGa - The Edge of Glory
Album: Born This Way
"There ain't a reason you and me should be alone tonight.."
Ending up her appearance in my list is her third single, The Edge of Glory which is dedicated to her grandfather. I really think that this is an underrated single by GaGa and I also think that this is her best single so far. It's just simple, like the old GaGa that I stanned so hard before. Plus, the saxophone part played by the late Clarence Jay is LIFE! It could've have been in my #1 spot but that goddamn stupid boring ass video let me down BIG TIME. I mean, I already expected great bizarre video. When I found out that Joseph Kahn will direct and GaGa showed some teaser pics, I were really excited to see the video and then the day came and after I watch it I was like "The **** is that?". YOU DO NOT MAKE A TRIBUTE TO SESAME STREET!
Last Year's #10: Usher f/ Pitbull - Dj Got Us Fallin' In Love Again

| 9. Adele - Someone Like You
Album: 21
"Regrets and mistakes, they are memories made."
Adele released her second single from her soon-to-be-winning 437248 Grammys, 21. Someone Like You is a beautiful melodic piano-only ballad that showcases Adele's powerhouse vocal. The song is about her who found out that the one she really loves has a new one. She told him that he is glad for him and he will find someone like him. She crazy! She just pop out in a wedding in blue uninvited and then she will say "never mind I'll find someone like you.". Bitch, do it on the phone, not on his special day. How epic is this song? A instruments store in UK post a sign saying "Strictly No Adele" since people want to play this song in the piano. That's what I call pressed. This is also the first piano-only song that #1 in the US Charts. The video is shot in black and white. You can feel Adele's depression with the video tone and the settings. Oh and finally, SHE WALKS! Hallelujah.
Last Year's #9: Trey Songz - Can't Be Friends

| 8. The Script - Nothing
Album: Science & Faith
"And all my mates are all there calming me down 'cause I'm shouting your name all over the town."
The Script scores their third hit with this song. Not really a hit, maybe semi hit. This band really knows how to deliver good pop-rock love songs. In this song, he states how he is drunk and make a drunk dial but the girl is speechless. This is an instant hit here in the Philippines since their songs is really loved here. The video is also good, I guess. Did you know that was shot in a swimming pool? Yeah, like that was surprising lmfao. In the video, I think he also did some drugs because he hallucinates his girl underwater and kissed her. Cannabis all the way!
Last Year's #8: Paramore - The Only Exception
