Dammit, I don't like it all No amazing, killer vocals, no soaring chorus, it doesn't scream smash to me...I hope Country radio likes it, it's definitely old school Country..It reminds me of a lessor MKIA except with no hook or memorable chorus, and kinda cheesy Okay, I'll keep the negativiy about the song to myself now, anyways...yay for CMB!!!!!!!!

I like this a bit more than DYWS tbh... it's got a much catchier melody
Vince Gil doesn't have a very big part though, I was expecting him to have a solo
I prefer it over DYWS too. Its so smooth and I love that its just Kelly singing for the most part. It truly shows that its her song and gives her more legitimacy in the country world.
Maybe if you listened to her music (especially her second album Here We Go Again) then you would see that she's heavily influenced by Kelly. I agree that her voice needs work but she has the natural vocal ability of a mini Kelly imo. She is an extremely talented writer for her age and she's almost as versatile as Kelly. Once she finds herself, she will be able to prove herself as a great artist.
Yeah sorry, I'm a Demi stan but she's taking her vocals in the WRONG direction.
Her vibrato is deteriorating and she isn't able to hold a steady note anymore. Demi's taking the Christina route and it's starting to show. She needs to learn to harness those technical skills like Kelly does without abusing them and letting them ruin the rest of your voice.
That national anthem performance was atrocious. Demi, stop listening to Aguilera's music. Focus on some more Kelly.
Yes, her second album Here We Go Again was very Kelly-like. But that was old Demi, she's clearly trying to morph into something else. Fair enough, but she needs to take care of her voice in the process.
This is Demi singing back in the day. Compare that to the national anthem performance, you can see she's getting worse. The oversinging she's been doing recently...
The belt at 2:35 >>>>>> anything demi's been doing recently.
Yeah, I'm hoping Country radio will eat up since it's very old school, nothing like all the poppy stuff on now a days
I, for one, am happy she's not trying to make the Carrie/Taylor version of country or even the loud Country/Rock that seems to have taken over country.
