Anyway, i dont see why a millionaire is donating to another millionaire. This money would of been better spent for actual charities to do with violence / assault against women.

Generous of her to donate to Kesha, but i believe this money could of been used in a much different way to help other females, opposed to just one.

Not only did Taylor just offer Kesha essential financial assistance, She also raised more awareness than anyone else could have. And by donating so much, people will also see how much Taylor believes in Kesha and her cause–She supports Kesha so much that She's willing to put Her money where Her mouth is. It's good that she is trying to help Kesha, but I'm wondering what it can change.

Has Kesha run out of money to pay her legal fees or has she ran out of legal avenues to challenge the contract with Sony and Dr Luke?

I'm guessing that it won't be enough to buy Kesha out of her contract as Luke seems to think he is owed a ridiculous amount. Ultimately it's going to require Sony to see that continuing to support Luke is bad for business and that the contract with Kesha has no value if she is forced to work with Dr Luke.

So while Taylor has been very generous, it might need some public and private lobbying of Sony (and others labels) to make sure what happens behind the scenes by people representing their label is ethical.

Can some of you just shut up about whatever intentions you think the money has? Taylor generously donated money to Kesha because obviously she's gonna go through hell having a label that probably won't promote her and the money she's going to need to financially create a record.

Just because Kesha has more money than some of us doesn't mean she has enough money to fund everything she needs.

Also lets not forget that all the great charities Taylor has done including visiting cancer patients were done through anonymity. She's always had other people and witnesses publicize her kind charitable acts indirectly for her. She doesn't need to be vain or conceited by verbally or tweeting any statements. Some of you need to get your head out of social media. Not everything needs to be tweeted. Kesha received her donations and support. That's more than enough.
