This is something to be concerned about, absolutely - and you'll find this occurs in insane amounts in animal agriculture.

Right! If you really have compassion for animals you need to farm algae in your backyard and live off of that.

I don't understand the whole superiority complex vegans have. Glad that you decided to go with a meat-free lifestyle, but it's not what everyone is used to and I don't see our society headed in that direction.

Also, for some people, being a vegan is way too expensive. For instance, in my area, cow's milk is half the price of the cheapest dairy-free milk and sometimes, people can't just afford to shell out the extra just to be vegan.
