I think she meant the A&R who initially got her signed to Blackground had left went to interscope aka the same A&R who helped Bruno Mars start his career.

Then my A&R, who [had initially] signed me, left and went to Interscope, and I was caught in limbo once again. So the time has not [fit into] the time frame I wanted it to be, but I cannot rush to put out something I have been trying to put out for so long. It just has to be right. I want all systems to go. That’s why I signed to a major label, because I want the push.

@bolded should have been the clue here. She's clearly talking about blackground and now that she has the push she can get the album out.

now that I’ve been signed to Atlantic I’ve started from scratch with the recording process. Then my A&R, who [had initially] signed me, left and went to Interscope, and I was caught in limbo once again.

So, FIRST she signed to Atlantic, THEN the A&R left. And she was in limbo ONCE AGAIN

It's true Just confirmed it on twitter however I'm informed it was before she released Tringle so she's good

But in all honesty, Atlantic has been doing an incredible job with Jo (minus the radio adds mess). Her promo is on ****ing point

So, maybe we shouldn't worry about the A&R leaving. She's already said she's not looking for a label that is a family at the same time, so maybe she doesn't care that much either.

She clearly said I was kinda left on the limbo again it made no sense why they have neglected her since they signed her I knew there was a reason why but it gave her more time to create a better album it seems.

That is why she took so long to release anything since 2014 because the A&R left so she had to get someone else whilst recording her album. All of this was prior to the Tringle

JoJo didn't confirm in the interview that this was before the limbo. She just said "then". Hivy is right in saying this was most probably before the tringle, since everything has settled now and her schedule is on point in the last 6 months.

And I don't think anyone insinuated she's STILL in limbo. We were just sad that, even on Atlantic, there were obstacles on her way.

It seemed like a lot of folks were still taking that info and running with it to mean that she was still in limbo. This is at least how I interpreted the last couple of pages. In any case, I hope this means that they will be doing something with SMS. She deserves a push of any sort at this point, and the song is just wonderful.

And also, I am part of this "we" you speak of sis. I'm a huge Jo stan.

She's fine now, don't worry. Atlantic has been treating her extremely well. 2 high profile performances before the album is even announced / launched is pretty amazing
