It's too late for the US, it's already been released there. They could just give up on it, but I reckon they should just see how far it can go.

This isn't the first time Rihanna has cancelled singles in the UK. From Rated R she cancelled the UK released of Hard and went with Rude Boy instead (then released Hard later as the 4th single).

You're right, LALOVE had more pop appeal, but BBHMM won't do absolutely nothing, it could go top 10 like Drunk In Love, Wiggle, Anaconda, Don't Tell 'Em or Loyal if they really went all out with it.
