- This is not their latest single but I think this was the first leaked track. I thought it would be appropiate for this edition. The whole hand reaching the ground in the spectrograph for this song is crazy stuff.

The Apples In Stereo - Energy
- When I first heard this song, I immediately had an urge to check out other stuff by them. However, for some reason I was not hooked on the song. I think their recent performance on Conan helped me with that.
The Classic Crime – The Coldest Heart
- There seems to be something that keeps me from loving this song but I also know there is something that makes me remember this song. Maybe the lyrics have both the effects?
Head Automatica – Beating Heart Baby
- I was hooked on this song when it first came out. I had so much fun singing it. It is still just as much fun to sing it. This song is definitely worth blasting, hah.
Incubus - Love Hurts
- One of the first songs that caught my ear off of the latest album. Of course, this is worth mentioning for Valentine's / Single Awareness Day!
Muscles – Ice Cream
- "Ice cream is gonna save the day!" How is it related to Valentine's Day? Some people pig out on ice cream and chocolate on this day, or whenever it is about relationships... and this is the song to listen to if you wanna start feeling better (or, in my case, silly)!
Savage Garden - Truly Madly Deeply
- I can no longer remember where this song was playing this week that had me queue it up for Valentine's Day. This is actually what started my desire to play all love/love sucks songs I could think of on Valentine's / Single Awareness Day.

Hope everyone had a good / decent February 14th! I know I had a bizarre week... but no complaints here. I practically had/have a six-day weekend, haha.

- I recently saw that Air's Once Upon A Time was available and I just ended up remembering how relaxing this was. This is so different from the original.

Ben Folds - Family Of Me
Album: Over The Hedge soundtrack | Year: 2006
- It was so hard picking just one song from Over The Hedge (great movie!). I love the composition (strings!) of this song and people can relate. Darn length.

Finger Eleven - Paralyzer
Album: Paralyzer | Year: 2007
- This definitely ended up growing on me... and this definitely does not sound like One Thing so it is weird thinking that this is the same band.

Kenna - Out of Control (State of Emotion)

- This is one of the best songs to have playing when driving! It also reminds me of another song... but I cannot exactly pin-point which one.

Kaiser Chiefs - Admire You

- One of the B-Sides of Ruby (the other being From The Neck Down) and so worth listening to! "Do you admire me as I admire you?"

- Ever since I saw 13 Going On 30, I started liking Liz Phair a lot more than I used to. This is one of the songs that recently stood out.

- Someone recommended Upsidedown if one liked Dandy Warhols, which immediately had me wanting to check them out. There are a few songs available on the label's site that you can hear/download for free and if you like them, you can buy the album. I think this song sounds the most like Dandy Warhols.

I have no idea what happened to Liz Phair. She had an album in 2005 (Somebody's Miracle) but after that, I do not think anything has been released about her. According to a fansite, Mesmerizing, she toured a bit, was on the Charmed soundtrack, had some songs in Julie Johnson, and performed live for Pepper Dennis (a show on WB) in 2006.
