Denver Airport's runway layout looking like a Swastika? There's hardly anything unusual about that. It has two sets of parallel runways, with the terminals in the middle. Perpendicular runways are a common configuration at airports as they provide the greatest flexibility in terms of runway utilization to handle traffic under a variety of wind conditions. KDEN has a lot of space to construct, which allowed them to space out the runways. They always built them to reduce taxi times between the runway thresholds and the terminal which may also give this appearance. This is before you get into the complications of the various interpretations of the Swastika as a symbol. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, for example has a similar configuration with the exception that the perpendicular runway has no parallel counterpart.
