County. As in divisions of the state. There are 8 counties in Connecticut. Newtown is in Fairfield County.

Shootings are getting crazy. And it is because of the gun laws. Just look at the statistics. These poor kids are going to be traumatized for life. I honestly don't understand how someone could pick an elementary school of all places to shoot up.

The problem is the Second Amendment to the US Constitution, the "right to bear arms." People defend the Constitution (a 200 year old document) like it is perfect and still entirely relevant to modern society (which it isn't).
