He's just saying that, because they made a duet together. And I wouldn't mind if he said Madonna or Cher, but Elvis Presley. I hope he won't get associated with her again. He is the King of Rock n Roll and the Legend of all Legends, while Lady Gaga is a pop star who is popular right now.

I'm finding myself disappointed by more and more celebrities these days. They'll praise just about anyone with a modicum of talent as long as said individual is leading the popularity contest. Lady GaGa is definitely a capable artist; she can compose songs, write lyrics, sing, dance, articulate her thoughts, and convey ideas but there's nothing profound about the way she does any of those things. That's not "talent," that's "skill." People really need to learn the difference, especially when it comes to her.

Who says Gaga is leading the popularity contest first of all?
Sure she's the most talked about, but Adele has the big albums and Katy has the big singles this year.... technically I'd say they would be leading.
I can't believe you just said that composing, writing, singing, dancing, and creating aren't talents.
I feel like your whole post has pressed written all over it, and you usually aren't like that.

Besides, we're talking about pop music here. If it was acting, maybe his claim would have some validity. But "talent' doesn't matter. This is a genre where Justin Bieber is the biggest force on Earth and Katy Perry rules the charts.

Yeah, and there were countless fake, manufactured acts surrounding Elvis on the charts too. Those with talent, drive, and image are remembered though.

He's an 85 year old man who possibly even knew Elvis.
Think about all the people he's been around in the music industry his whole life... it's an endless list.
Yet at the end of the day, he said that Gaga is the most talented person he's ever met.
That should say something about her as an artist.
