Honestly, does this matter to anyone? Mermaids aren't some rare idea, I mean Disney made The Little Mermaid. It's not like it shows that Katy or Gaga are smart for doing it or anything. Of all things on ATRL this is probably the stupidest I've seen in a while.
Yes, Katy did the mermaid thing on the beach does that have anything to do with anything at all? No. And js, that's not some unique idea either. Madonna did Cherish like 40 years ago, does that matter? No. Katy doing a mermaid photoshoot? Not at all, as if Katy or anyone controls their photoshoots, if anything it just upset some Gaga stans because Gaga had been talking about a mermaid video for a while. But does anyone who can rationally think think Katy knew that and decided to copy this rare intellectual idea of dressing up like a mermaid?
What some people don't seem to get is mermaids are SO ****ing common, how many girls have seen The Little Mermaid, how many girls have dressed up as a mermaid for Halloween, how many girls are out there working in fish tanks performing as effing mermaids. It isn't some rare smart creative idea. If it were something like Gaga talking about being a centaur warrior princess then okay maybe then if Katy tweeted a picture of that, I'd see a point. These threads aren't saying anything about Katy vs. Gaga, they're about how stupid everyone's being. And now to add that stupidity to my post - #oops
@ this thread... Although GaGa did not invent the mermaid theme, it is no coincidence Katy is using the theme now that GaGa said she was going to use it for a video...
