One, she's not leaving Jive, that ole washed up label is merging with EPIC LABEL. Plus, Britney is on a contract year, so she's not going to be making another album until she signs another contract.

And one thing about RCA, they may have a full roster of flops at this moment, but I think we're always too quick to blame the label. As for this idea that RCA doesn't promote ther acts, well, it's nonsense. They promote the girls that matter - they actually do a pretty decent job. Anyone remember the massive promo schedule Christina had in the months/weeks leading up to Bionic? Her appearances were numerous, as well as high-profile. I have no reason to believe that if Britney ends up on RCA's roster they wouldn't push her to do this sort of big time promotion (it's another question entirely if Britney would agree to it, though). Even Ke$ha gets decent promo. Some labels don't promote their artists, but RCA does, and if an artist with massive promo underperforms, I take it as a sign that the audience simply didn't connect with the material, not that the label failed to generate buzz for the new release.
So after Kelly, Xtina and Avril, RCA is going to ruin Britney's career.
Jive might be a little bit dumb in recent eras of Brit, but they did a lot for her.
**** this is bad, she should go to Interscope or Deaf Jam
Interscope.
Def Jam's main focus is Rihanna, they didn't even know what to do with Janet ****ing Jackson when she was there for her 'Discipline' album, and Mariah's last album was messy, not just the album but the whole era.
