Adele is #1 on iTunes and Amazon. No major releases this week, correct? Yeah, she will reclaim the #1 spot.

Oh chit, I just saw Burlesque still hangin on in there! Another 10k this week, will bump its US sales to 340k :-) and it is at #12 in the US and #5 in Canada (itunes)

It is so sad to see Avril flopping in the US. The problem is the label, RCA has some serious issues going in their camp for the last several years. Christina, Kelly, Avril having disappointing sales. The lack of aggresiveness in single releases, the insufficiency of promo and the mismanagement of sinle choices and album releases. All three artists have proven to be huge sellers in the last decade but are having a hard time keeping up with the aggressiveness of the other female artists of this generation. Kelly Clarkson could've done better with more singles released, and so with Christina's situation, heck even Burlesque had no single released at all. They also love having huge gaps between singles. Avril should've had second single released right now to push the album, or even better, a second single released two weeks from album release, to at least push her first week sales to the 100k level.

Yeah it's all RCA's fault and for not doing the good promotion. 
It's actually the public doesn't give a **** and no interest in the material because it's of low quality.
