It fails just as much as capitalism. The richest and most successful capitalist countries, with some of the highest amounts of millionaires, have millions living in poverty and homelessness. But yeah, let's pretend that centuries of interference & colonizing of South America by Western first-world powers has nothing to do with why certain countries are collapsing now.
Let's just push a Clinton-approved, right-wing opposition leader into power and give the US and other powers full access to another country, even if they'll probably just destroy the agriculture, murder even more indigenous people, and drain it for their own benefit. Gotta love capitalism.
No one can honestly argue socialism as flawed yet defend capitalism - that's intellectual dishonesty and laughable.
