But I'm thinking certain mods clear it for their friends. Even some posters brag about certain mods doing this.

Is there a tutorial session I can sign up for? I usually press report and then type in 2 or 3 of the reasons that are listed below. What else would I need to do? Guide me

I doubt that is a legitimate excuse though. How would formatting negate the claim???

slw, in some cases, the mods WILL process/warn the post being reported if it's blatantly obvious.

Otherwise, they can't tell why the post is being reported. Considering how much they have to go through (in terms of reports), they don't have the time to check every post in full context. That's why it's kinda essential reports are formatted properly and given legitimate reasons.

I usually press report and then I look at the list and pick out two or three.

Reason(s): i.e. flamebait and abrasive

I only report posts that are warnable so I'm guessing it's the former not the latter.

Even then it's not like I'm posting in a foreign language or putting illuminati voodoo or some mess on it.

I just list for instance:

I click report
and then put "flamebait and abrasive"

I mean I don't put more than that.

If Ace responds with the ideal formatting, then we know it was out of legitimate concern...

Nope. I report knowing that all my reports are legit but understanding that it doesn't necessarily mean the post will get warned and then randomly am told i'm doing it incorrectly (and that's the reason my report was not processed ruling out any other ideas I suppose...) but not told how to do it correctly...that's if we are going with the notion that it was aimed to be constructive feedback
